A New Pre-school campus...
The campus will extend over to the house next door which will house administrative offices and down the rest of the block of 26th St where there will be our door play space and a playground as well as parking. The demo portion of construction is complete inside the old Sunday school building with renovation hopefully starting soon!
As a part of Mighty Oak Academy we will be bringing back our pre-school formerly known as Laugh Learn Love to a brand new campus. The pre-school will be located in the former Grace Lutheran Church building on 26th and Bank. The old sunday school building directly behind the sanctuary will be transformed into a preschool for up to 120 children ages 1 - 5 years old.
WHAT HAPPENED THIS WEEK?
This past week we completed basketball camp! Big thanks to the athletic Director of St Francis School coming out to show the kids some hoop skills!
UOFL FOOTBALL OUTING!
Last Thursday our campers and Mighty Oak Academy students were invited by U of L football to come visit Cardinal Stadium, watch a team practice, have dinner with the team and then play games with the players after dinner. The kids were super excited to go spend time with the players and hang out on the field! Huge thank you to Coach Satterfield and his team for hosting such an awesome fun day!

Mighty Oak Academy
It's break week, our camps will take a break for the 4th of July holiday this coming week. We hope everyone has a good mid summer rest and we'll be ready for Science and Technology camp starting on the 12th!
Porkland BBQ
We have Tacos! Tuesdays are now Taco Tuesdays with our famous smoked pork, smoked chicken, fried fish or blackened fish with all the fixings. We are making a new print menu to share with all our expanded menu items. come in and try some today!

Volunteer Opportunities:
- Guest volunteer teachers for our cheerleading and soccer camps
- Volunteers to help make sandwiches for camp lunches
